My Roland Mouret Lush dress version

Hello

Long time without making a post. I was on holidays in the sunny Creta.

A while ago I bought a medium cotton woven fabric. I dont know how to describe the colour it's like dark fuchsia but not even sure.

I did find quite hard to get a nice thread that could match the color of the fabric and even a zipper, so I decided to use black thread for contrasting with the dark fuchsia.

The fabric was prewashed, pressed, the grain was squared-off for every piece of the dress to be cut.

I must say that this fabric felt heavy during the sewing process. But I managed. I am quite happy with the result.

In a previous post I uploaded a picture of the making process of the RM lush dress. http://myfashionhobbie.blogspot.no/2014/07/what-am-i-doing-nowadays.html

When I was satisfied with the fitting of the whole etoile, the next step was to cut the pieces in the cotton woven fabric.

Pieces of the dress

I ordered the RIRI zipper from USA, and when I came back from Greece I have it already in my mailbox.

Here is the result, I hope you like Girls.!!
