Emilio Pucci High-waisted Pants version.

I am back. Since my baby was born it has been all about him. I am exclusively breastfeeding, but now that he is 3 months, things are getting better. I take every minute I have free for doing what I like: Sewing.

I decided to sew two pants, one in red and the another in black. My pattern is based on Emilio Pucci black and white high-waisted pants.

First the pattern and a toile.

Emilio Pucci pants has a exposed zipper in the back, invisible zipper at the bottom and also pockets .

The material for making this trouser in black:

Stretch Crepe in black
Overlocking thread in black
6mm black zipper 23cm
5 meters of 10 cm grosgrain ribbon in black
2 meters of 2,5 cm grosgrain ribbon in black
Two 15cm invisible zippers in black

If you can find a very thin lightweight cotton fabric in black for making the pockets will be great, if not can we use lining fabric.

Part of the making process:

The pants are sew in the inside leg with the invisible zippers but the sides of the pants will be sew with the 10 cm grosgrain ribbon.
The pockets are made of 3 parts, each part has to be cut 2 times.

Part 1 sew on top of Part 3

Part 2

All the parts of the pockets together

Sewing Part 2 over Part 3+1, except where the pins are shall be an opening for the hands

Here are the whole pockets assembled

I sew this pant not just in black but also in red stretch crepe, I just love the shape of this pants.
