Roland Mouret Poplin Blouse and a pair of trouser

Image
Hello Normally, every piece of clothes of Roland Mouret has a name, but I have not been able to find the name of this light green top made of stretch poplin. But I have been able to make a copy of it, and I think it is a great top. My plan is to sew it in different colours. I bought this stretch Cotton fabric mostly for making a trouser, but then with the fabric that was left I decided to sew this top. Here it is (^.^) Here it's the pants

Roland Mouret Galaxy version (Pink)

Hello The RM Galaxy dress is famous, I don't think the design is better than other of Roland Mouret dresses. The one thing that took time for me to break the code was: How the sleeves were made? I did have an idea, but I was missing something that I couldn't see clearly in the pictures It's a classic dress and as I wrote the most challenging part was the sleeve. No matter how many pictures I saw, the sleeve was a real challenge. I am not joking but it took me looooooooooooooooong time before I managed. Can you believe it? Just a sleeve. At the end, a old top from Roland Mouret and some inside Pictures of a kind owner helped me to understand the sleeve design of the RM Galaxy dress. I know Roland Mouret likes wool Crepe or stretch wool crepe, but if the dress do not has lining, then I have a problem. I am not used to wool on my skin but I love how wool crepe behaves and it is not difficult to work with. Another option for me was to buy a stretch crepe fabric mad

Versace cropped top (Bralette) Version 2

Image
Hello After making my first bra top inspired by Versace bralette. I couldn't let it go. I decided to make a second one that could resemble the original, I have a original Versace silk fabric and I bought black silk crepe for the lining and all the details that are part of the Versace bralette top. This time I decided to make my own pattern, taking into considerations: 1.- The top has a soft cup, and it only use bra underwire. 2.- The bust pattern do not have 3 parts. It has just two, upper and lower part, the lower part has a dart that helps to get the bust shape. The front body is one piece, side lapped zipper, no bonning, the back part of the bralette: I have seen two versions, the first version its made of 3 pieces of fabric. Second Version: One piece of fashion fabric.  Back of the top made of 3 pieces of fabric Back of the Top made of one piece of fashion fabric I made 5 samples until I was happy with the fitting and shape of the bra cup. Hello In my wardrobe is hanging a beautiful Dolce and Gabbana bodysuit. Since then I have been looking for a nice Black lace dress, but I really love Dolce and Gabbana lace dresses style, what it's more difficult to like is the price ☹️ In a trip to Barcelona I found a really nice fabric store, I made a inspiration collage which I could show and get help to find a nice lace fabric for my sewing project.  Back from Spain I started to thread mark the pattern, I wanted to be done with the dress before my husband and I anniversary. We have a reservation in a nice french restaurant. Front skirt Back Skirt Top's Front Sleeves Top's back The second step is to take away the sequins that are in the stitchline including those in the darts. A long and meticulous process. Finally, it's time to sew.  I started sewing the darts. The darts were wide enough for sewing a French seam. After sewing the darts I decided to sew
