Hei This second corset top is based on the pattern Transitional Regency Stays C1795 from etsy.  I made a toile and I did really have some fitting issues, but for that it is the toile to check the fitting of the pattern. I used stretch crepe, muslin, viscose lining , neon green Italian ribbed fabric and FOE elastic as binding.  Inside: Muslin, boning channels The front side with the ribbed cups The inside with the viscose lining The whole binding was sewn by hand. It was more easy to control especially at the bottom part of the waist. And.... here its me with my new corset-top and my new pants. 

 Hello I bought this Corset pattern in Etsy, the pattern is called c1715 by Caroline Woollin. I already started to have an idea of how I do want my Corset to look like. I did have a gorgeous neon pink wool fabric, and I have some pieces of neon italian ribbed knit fabric, I bought neon pink rounded cord, I had pink silk fabric which I used as lining.  I made a toile of size UK 10. It fits perfectly.  Lining: I did have to use another silk fabric in the bust because I didn't have enough of the darker pink fabric. This is a modern version of the corset. I sew a end-separated zipper. I bought a dyeable cotton zipper, I did so because I know how difficult is to find a neon pink zipper which could match with the fashion fabric. I dye the zipper and I was really happy with the result.  For the straps, I bought a neon pink rounded cord from Minerva haberdashery, it was not exactly the same color, but I did like how it looks. Hello Every 13th of each month my husband and I says to each other: Congratulations.! Thats the day we met. For us it's more important the day we met than the day we married. Every year the 13th of October we go out to celebrate. This year I have planned a surprise. We will stay in a nice Hotel and have dinner in a romantic restaurant.  For this special occasion  I thought about sewing a midi pencil skirt in neon pink lambskin.  I made a toile and draw the pattern. I wasn't sure if I wanted to use lining or not but at the end I decided for lining. I bought neon pink poplin and riri 2447 pink both ways zipper. Because I couldn't cut the front and back of the skirt in one piece of leather then the pattern of the skirt ended up been a paneled skirt. Hello I think is very clear that I am NOT a designer but a Sewer. I love sewing and if I like a piece of clothing I will do my best to make it. When I saw this trousers from Dolce and Gabbana they screamed to me: Sexy and daring. I said to myself, I am going to make it. I did start my SEW-search with the eyelet ribbon, I found it but not with the same eyelet distance. The another option was to make it myself, and then it will take forever. I decided to buy the one I found.  Black stretch satin, good quality, made in Italy. Very happy.  I bought meters and meters of black cord. I did have black thread, zipper and fasteners.  I made a cigarette pants with a stretch fabric and from it I made the pattern marking where the eyelet ribbon was going to be placed.  Parts 1 and 2 Part 3 Part 4 My first issue was that the distance between eyelets in the tape is 2.5cm. Hello I am going to celebrate my birthday. Normally I don't celebrate it. This year I want to do something special for my birthday. How are we going to dress up? My boys are going to dress up with a shirt sew by me, using a Versace fabric style. I bought the patterns, both for men and kids. Fabric has arrived and I am really eager to start this sewing Project. I started first with my little boy shirt and for sewing it I bought a pattern from TADAH. The pattern comes with very well written instructions. I also sew a short-arm dress shirt to my husband.  My boys ❤
