Roland Mouret Cyrus Top version

Image
Hello Have you seen this top? I really like it and it can be use for any occasion. I bought stretch polyester crepe in white, red and black. I was suppose to make a whole outfit: Pants and top, but the white crepe needed lining and then I changed my mind. I cut RM cyrus top pattern in white and red and I bought RiRi zippers for making this sewing project. Details of RM cyrus top. The collar in this Cyrus model has facing and two side darts The back has two long darts and an end-separating zipper The Top is based on this dress, with the exception that the top of the dress is made with four panels. The dress is Called Roland Mouret Afyon. I have already made the Roland Mouret Afyon dress  http://myfashionhobbie.blogspot.com/2016/10/my-version-of-roland-mouret-afyon-dress.html Since the white fabric needed lining, I decided to cut two fronts in fashion fabric, and I faced the back . With the red Top I used just fac...

My Versace bralette version (Cropped bustier)

Hello I am fan of neon colors. This summer I bought finally a neon green dress and a neon pink long stretchy dress. A good neon green stretch fabric is not easy to find. S/S 2019 Versace collection had neon pink and yellow, I love it. Also 80's style pants with a modern twist, tighter and gold zippers with the medusa logo that is the stamp of Versace. I used a pattern called Esplanade bra. I did small modifications: Instead of using the bra hook-ups I used a side end-separating zipper, versace bralette has a soft cup with underwire, I decided to use foaming cup in my one.  I used power net/mesh as my base. Stretch white cotton satin as lining and a colourful jersey as fashion fabric. I learned alot making this bralette top. As the first time I should have done a sewing sequence, because on the road I found challenges that could have been avoided.  I really did this sewing project more difficult than it should have been, b...

My versace tapered pants version S/S 2019

Image
Hello This year, Versace S/S 2019 collection was colourful, sexy, classic, etc. In my Bralette top version you can see the same photos that inspired me to make this pants. This pants has a 80's style. It has been modernized with versace zippers and the width has been reduced. I got a vintage vogue pattern with this pants style. So, I decided to sew it in neon lime green colour. I did want to have the zippers but a metal zipper that could match my neon lime green fabric wasn't a easy job. No zippers this time. Front and back of the pants Facing Pockets Back of the pants with installed invisible zipper (wrong side) Back of the pants with installed invisible zipper (right side) Front of the pants  (wrong side) Front of the pants with pockets (wrong side) The result... In my neon Orange version I am going to sew  side seam pocket, also with the extra fabric from the neon orange fabric I will sew a RM Cyrus top. I have made the toile and I have cut all the pieces. I am using cotton organdy for the pockets and neon orange stretch polyester fabric.
